Somewhat tone deaf =P
Finally got that stupid oral over with, lol! After much debating, and changing our minds 30 billion times, Hanh and I have finally decided (last night, LMAO) to teach our English class Cantonese. Sheesh, between the two of us, we have four languages, other than English and French, that we could teach: Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarine, and Toisanese. I knew for a fact that we were not gonna teach Toisanese, since only the older generation speaks it now. It would have been interesting if we did end up teaching Vietnamese, though. I was kinda getting the hang of it and out of the whole sentence, there was only one word that I couldn't pronounce. Anyways, it was a good thing that we didn't end up teaching Mandarine since all the chinese people in the class, with the exception of myself, decided to teach it. We would have ended up with 3 Mando lessons in one morning, lol. Come to think of it though, the people in my class did a way better job teaching it than my Mando teachers ever did. At least I know the difference between all the pitches now. I always got confused between the first and fourth pitch =___=. So yes, ended up teaching Cantonese and omg... it was so funny! Was so had to keep a straight face xD. The other presentations were pretty interesting though. It seems to me that Italian is the easiest language to pronounce, so far. As for all the other languages whose writings I can't read.. well.. pretty confusing..
Anyways, I think I'm starting to get comfortable with oral presentations. This one was pretty much all improvisation since it was done so last minute, but I was surprisingly not nervose! Haha, maybe it's being over prepared that makes me nervose. Ah whatever, at least it's over with now.
ONLY 1 SCHOOL WEEK AND 1 DAY LEFT TILL MARCH BREAK!!!
