Okie.. so I lied =P
Okie, so I lied... I've accepted the fact that it's March Break much sooner than I thought I would. See, normally, it would take at least a weekend and a day for that guilty I-feel-like-I-should-be-in-school feeling in the pit of my stomach to go away, but not this year^^. Am proud to say that I slept like a log and woke to gorge on cookie dough ice cream in the middle of the afternoon ~_^. A very healty breakfast, indeed
Anywho, went around comparing prices for airline tickets on the weekend, and boy is it pricey. Well, guess I kinda expected that since we're contemplating on going to both Australia and Hong Kong in the same summer. Actually, we're still not quite sure about Australia yet.. mom wants to see her sister, but at the same time, my grandmother's been looking forward to our visit for 2 years now and she isn't exactly as healthy as she use to be. Anyways, long story short, we are definately going to Hong Kong^^.
Tried searching for concert tickets, but it seems as though the listings are up for only as far as May, so I guess I should check again in a month so...
Things to do this march break:Airline Tickets
Pictionary
Pool
Hang Out
Catch up my my TVB series:
施公奇案 (1/3 of the way done. haha, gotta love bobby^^)
覆雨翻雲 (Ramond, what happened?? your series use to be sooOOOo good!!!)
飞短留长父子兵 (watched a few episodes and frankly, it looks way too happy and perky for my taste xD. Kevin's hot, but he's just not leading character material.)
Sleep
Possibly go skating
Attempt to work on my IP project... ah, who am I kidding? That's not gonna happen until Sunday night when I'm in super crazy panic mode ;)
Hmm.. think come to think of it.. I vaguely recall being assigned a term paper for my film class...
*Note to self: call Melody
//edit*
Btw, the whole crew involved in the Naruto fillers should be shot cuz the majority of those episodes are a complete waste of download time, not to mention computer space. It's usually not a good sign when viewers start hating the main character.
Somewhat tone deaf =P
Finally got that stupid oral over with, lol! After much debating, and changing our minds 30 billion times, Hanh and I have finally decided (last night, LMAO) to teach our English class Cantonese. Sheesh, between the two of us, we have four languages, other than English and French, that we could teach: Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarine, and Toisanese. I knew for a fact that we were not gonna teach Toisanese, since only the older generation speaks it now. It would have been interesting if we did end up teaching Vietnamese, though. I was kinda getting the hang of it and out of the whole sentence, there was only one word that I couldn't pronounce. Anyways, it was a good thing that we didn't end up teaching Mandarine since all the chinese people in the class, with the exception of myself, decided to teach it. We would have ended up with 3 Mando lessons in one morning, lol. Come to think of it though, the people in my class did a way better job teaching it than my Mando teachers ever did. At least I know the difference between all the pitches now. I always got confused between the first and fourth pitch =___=. So yes, ended up teaching Cantonese and omg... it was so funny! Was so had to keep a straight face xD. The other presentations were pretty interesting though. It seems to me that Italian is the easiest language to pronounce, so far. As for all the other languages whose writings I can't read.. well.. pretty confusing..
Anyways, I think I'm starting to get comfortable with oral presentations. This one was pretty much all improvisation since it was done so last minute, but I was surprisingly not nervose! Haha, maybe it's being over prepared that makes me nervose. Ah whatever, at least it's over with now.
ONLY 1 SCHOOL WEEK AND 1 DAY LEFT TILL MARCH BREAK!!!
